Basic banking services at POP Bank
POP Bank provides basic banking services on an equal basis to all individuals who are legally resident in the EEA
A basic payment account
A payment card that allows you to withdraw cash from your account and pay for purchases in shops and online (page in Finnish)
Payments can be made as standing orders, e-invoices, direct debits and direct payments
Online banking ID (page in Finnish)
A strong electronic identifier
Please note that POP Bank provides its services in Finnish and Swedish. If you want to conduct your business in another language, you have the right to use an interpreter. You will then be responsible for any costs you incur from using an interpreter. Agreements can only be made in Finnish and Swedish, and it is always the bank’s responsibility to ensure that the customer understands his or her rights and obligations under an agreement.
Basic banking services are offered to all retail customers who are legally resident in the European Economic Area (EEA).
If we refuse to provide you with the services, we will always inform you in writing of the reasons for the refusal and how to appeal the decision.
